Winged Rangers

Has anyone ever noticed the constant presence of aviation in CDRR?

The Rangerplane made it's first appearance in the third episode of 'To the Rescue', and appeared in approximately half the rest of the series before it was replaced by the Rangerwing. In addition, Gadget's own father was an ace pilot, making himself the source of much conjecture among Rangerphiles for years afterward (just what happened to him, we wonder?).
The Rangers used flight vehicles more than any other in the series, accurately portraying the usefulness of the technology in policework and detective investigations. Just what would Gadget have developed to add to their flying arsenal next, had the Rescue Rangers been extended past 65 episodes, as in the case of Darkwing Duck and Ducktales? And would it have survived their greatest cases? The Rangerplane always seemed to, somehow. Call it a testament to good engineering, and sturdy bleach bottles. If only the RangerRocket had survived...
Well, that's what Rangerfiction is for. 'Til next time, Rangerphiles!
