Enter Midnight

It's already September 1 where I live. Today is the very first time I'm writing something into a blog. And today is precisely half a year after I've joined the worldwide community of Rangerphiles.

On March 1, 2006, I stepped into the Acorn Café for the first time, still learning about the fandom. And now, six months later, here I am. I'm a foreign speaker, only very few Rangerphiles know my real name which is the reason why I'm the only one using a nick here, and everyone else from the RRHQ staff has been around the fandom for longer than me. But Charlie has invited me to come anyway—just like Lance did some time ago when he needed writers for the Ranger Wiki before it was revealed to the public. You, dear Rangerphile reader, can be certain that I was flattered in both cases. I believe I owe you folks some thanks. You and everyone who has read my fanfics and parodies so far.

Expect more to come from me. Expect interesting stuff from the past in the future. I'll open up the archives for you once in a while.

Rescuing the Day: What we've learned from the RRs

If your reading this, chances are that you've watched the Rescue Rangers, posted on the Acorn Cafe or our very own RRHQ, or you've come to know the RR gang in some form or fashion...

Remember wanting to be a RR yourself? Being the hero and fowling up the bad guys... riding in the rangerwing next to Monty, making the new plunger weapon with Gadget? I do... and it was great. I still carry that with me today, except just applying it to my setting around me. The Rangers always used what they had to stop any unjustice they saw. Granted our parents and friends have been the biggest influance in our lives but haven't you've taken something from the Rescue Rangers?

Firstly, the rangers were always looking for the unjust or wrongdoings that was around them... they didn't just wait for the problem to come to them. As people we should be looking to help out each other anychance we get. We shouldn't wait till the problem comes to affects us or comes to home.

Secondly, the rangers helped out anyone... (even cats to Monty's displeasure X3). They took on any case, big or small for total strangers and did it often. We should be always to lend a helping hand to strangers in need... yes there are exceptions and a chance that it might end up that you get burned but in the end, you tried your best and thats what we should all do... give everyone at least one chance

Lastly, Always go back for your friends... Our friends have been there for us through our darkest times and shared our greatest triumphs. Truely, they are our foundation and our brothers and sisters by heart. Never has any Ranger given up on another and left them to there fate... Together, the Rescue Rangers could overcome any problem that arise. This is true of us. With our friends we can accomplish more and greater things.

In our lives, there will always be a bad guy, rough weather, or just harsh times in general... but if we stick to our guns and keep our wits about us... relying on our morals, we can get through it.

Winged Rangers

Has anyone ever noticed the constant presence of aviation in CDRR?

The Rangerplane made it's first appearance in the third episode of 'To the Rescue', and appeared in approximately half the rest of the series before it was replaced by the Rangerwing. In addition, Gadget's own father was an ace pilot, making himself the source of much conjecture among Rangerphiles for years afterward (just what happened to him, we wonder?).
The Rangers used flight vehicles more than any other in the series, accurately portraying the usefulness of the technology in policework and detective investigations. Just what would Gadget have developed to add to their flying arsenal next, had the Rescue Rangers been extended past 65 episodes, as in the case of Darkwing Duck and Ducktales? And would it have survived their greatest cases? The Rangerplane always seemed to, somehow. Call it a testament to good engineering, and sturdy bleach bottles. If only the RangerRocket had survived...
Well, that's what Rangerfiction is for. 'Til next time, Rangerphiles!
